Important note Only residential home phone services are available. No business lines.  If you are moving your phone line from a Wholesaler/Reseller (example: Primus, Rogers) you will lose your DSL internet signal.  We ask that you contact your Internet Service Provider to inform them of the change. You must also contact your Long Distance Provider to inform them you have switched to TekSavvy/ Montreal-DSL Home Phone. You accept that if you have no Long distance plan (with us or with other LD provider) you will be charged at $0.029/minute for all Canada & U.S. Long Distance calls and as per our International rates for any calls terminating outside Canada & US If you want to keep your existing phone number do not cancel your existing home phone provider. Call us to do the transfer. If you are with Bell the switch will be seamless. It takes 10 business days to have the phone number transferred to us / activated if with Bell and 10-12 business days if with other provider. Move orders take 5 business days (can take up to 1o business days). Directory & Display changes and Telephone number changes take 5 business days (can take up to 10 business days). Features changes take 3 business days (can take up to 5 business days). If you are transferring your phone service from another provider, it is recommended that you first call them to inquire about contractual obligations. You may be “required” to provide them a termination notice. This will help you make your decision whether or not to provide the required notice, or transfer the service for the first available date. Remember that if you are transferring your phone service, TekSavvy/Montreal-DSL will cancel your existing phone service with your current provider on your behalf, but will not be responsible for any fees that may occur from the cancellation. You accept that all 900/976 and Collect Calls are not available with TekSavvy/Montreal-DSL Home Phone Service.
